Dvořák: Rusalka

Poetry and sensuality benefit from place in this creation of Rusalka. In carrying up the well-known topic of the siren,'' Dvo?ák composed a magic score that plunges the spectator into an mysterious and disturbing universe, beautifully reflected in Robert Carsen's creation. Reality and the supernatural, water and earth, people and manicured beings are juxtaposed in this dream-like opera that was sublimely. However, the meeting between 2 worlds is not without consequences: that the too human Prince loses his entire life if her voice is sacrificed by the nymph Rusalka.
