Pingu

Pingu is a BAFTA award-winning British-Swiss tv show. The Pygos Group and Trickfilmstudio made the show for Swiss tv, and centers on a family of penguins that were anthropomorphic living at the South Pole. The major character could be title character and that the family's son, Pingu. HiT Entertainment and HoT Animation businesses created the series, from seasons 5--6. The series originally ran for two days from 28 May 1986 to 9 April 2000 on SF DRS. Back in 2001, there have been two Pingu episodes left that didn't broadcast during the initial run. The episodes were run as part of a Pingu marathon, in 2000. The request episodes of hiT Entertainment convinced Pygos to draw the series from 1998, with just two series. Obviously, whilst season 3 and up 4 required 3 and two years to accomplish season 1 and season 2 were run but required four years for each season to complete . To this afternoon, Pingu appreciates occasional reruns on Cbeebies from the United Kingdom, also maintains that a cult following. It aired on BBC in 1995 throughout the years until 2005.
