Men Behaving Badly
Men Behaving Badly is a British sitcom which was written and created by Simon Nye. It follows his flatmates and the lives of both Gary Strang, Dermot Povey and Tony Smart. It was broadcast on ITV. A total of six string were made along side a xmas special and also three final episodes which compose the feature-length"last orders".
The series was filmed close to Ealing in west London and the scene of string six had been filmed at the Cerne Abbas giant. The atmosphere nevertheless is suggested to be South London and lots of references are made to Surrey.
It was produced by Hartswood Films, and Thames Television co-produced the initial two series for ITV. They also helped with production.
After being transferred to a slot on BBC1, Men Behaving Badly became exceptionally successful. It had been also voted the best sitcom in the history of the BBC in 1996 at the 60 th anniversary parties of BBC Television. Additionally, it came sixteenth at the Britain's Best Sitcom poll commissioned on BBC2 in 2004. It has also won the Comedy Awards' ITV humor, and also the first National Television Award for Situation-comedy.
