Cat's Eye
Cat Eye is a Japanese manga series illustrated and written by Tsukasa Hojo. It had been serialized in Weekly Sh?nen Jump from 1981 to 1985, also collected into 18 tank?bon by Shueisha. The story follows the experiences of the three Kisugi sisters, Rui, Hitomi and Ai, who are art thieves hoping to collect the works belonging for their father that is lost.
The manga was made into a anime show originally aired in 1983 to 1984 with a second season, on NTV. It has received two adaptations. A TV movie in 1988 and a theatrical film in 1997.
Cat's Eye is just one of Weekly Sh?nen Jump's best-selling manga series of all time, with over 18 million copies sold. The anime has aired in a number of countries outside Japan, for example Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Philippines, and China. On ImaginAsian TV, ImaginAsian broadcast on the very first season of their very first anime Back in 2007, and then gave the show its North American home video release. Right Stuf Inc. announced that they licensed the string at 2013 and release it on DVD under their Nozomi label.
A manga of the show brought on by Shingo Asai, also titled Cat's Eye, began publication in the debut issue of Coamix Comic Zenon anthology, which premiered on October 25, 2010.
