3--2--inch was a favorite game show that was made by Yorkshire Television for ITV. It ran for between 29 July 1978, ten years and also 2 4 December 1988, together with Butlins Redcoat Ted Rogers while the sponsor. It was based on a Spanish game show named Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez and was three shows in one, a quiz show, a variety show and a game show. The show was a massive success getting ratings. The very first series, though, intended as a summer season, attracted around 16.5 million viewers and succeeding ages not failed to summit below 1-2 million. The show occupied a Saturday early evening slot for most of its conduct. The ultimate Christmas special attracted 12.5 million viewers, therefore it would be for this afternoon unsure an eleventh series wasn't commissioned in 1989. Ted Rogers promised in a 1996 interview that"that the Oxbridge lot got hands of television and they did not really want to buy. It had been too down market. We were still getting 1-2 million viewers once they took it off after ten years. Nowadays if a show gets nine-million everyone else does a lap of honour." .
