Sheep Hero

Approximately 10 years ago, filmmaker Ton van Zantvoort must understand an idealist with a joyous, Stijn, relaxed nature. Stijn is one of those remaining Dutch shepherds in the way. We begin to see and so that the herd could graze the land in an eco-friendly way his rebellion, that the shepherd and his three dogs crisscrossing farmlands and nature reservations. But little remains of calmness and their romance that we correlate with the tradition of sheepherding. Tenders are increasingly hard to obtain --competition from economical east-european shepherds, big businesses and smart machinery make Stijn the option.
