Shako Mako

"Farah," a bread distributor, walks the roads of some Middle Eastern town, whereas an American military vehicle, surrounded by troops, gradually passes by. An instant's silence. Subsequently, a catastrophic explosion. Civilians are bloodied, wounded. The horrors of warfare. "Farah" seems around weatherproof and wailing. But here is what it seems. In fact,"Farah" is really just a character played by an aspiring performer called Laila. And a replica village erected to the Fort Irwin army base in California, used to train American troops, although this is not Iraq. Laila believes her acting talents are being wasted away in this arid simulation, by which roleplayers that are female are confined by mute, background roles. She chooses matters more seriously. Laila plots her way out.
